Therapy at Marigold Behavioral Health, PLLC can benefit anyone who is struggling with a mental health challenge or looking to improve their overall emotional well-being. Our therapist works with teens and adults of all backgrounds.
The first session is the intake appointment which consists of a structured set of questions that helps the therapist form the diagnosis and treatment plan. This is when you will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and your goals for treatment.
Session frequency varies depending on each patient's presenting concerns, diagnosis, and treatment plan. Typically, patients begin weekly sessions, progressing to biweekly, and eventually monthly as symptoms improve.
To help you reach your full potential and find relief from your symptoms, our well-trained therapist employs a variety of treatments and interventions. You are responsible for putting the strategies, tactics, and interventions you have learned in sessions into practice. It will also be up to you to express any issues or concerns within your therapeutic process. Change can only occur when there is consistency from both the patient and therapist.
In North Carolina, our therapist is paneled with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare (Part B), Medicaid (Healthy Blue, Partners, and United Healthcare Community), Optum, and United Healthcare. She is in the process of paneling with insurance providers for South Carolina. For out-of-network patients, we provide superbills upon request to assist with insurance reimbursement.
Accepted payment methods are cash, check, credit/debit cards, and Apple Pay.
We ask that patients notify us 24 hours in advance if their appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled. This allows us to offer that time to another patient. Failure to provide 24-hour notice will result in being charged a $100 cancellation fee unless the cancellation is due to illness or an emergency.
Two no-show appointments within a 6-month period will result in being discharged as a patient from Marigold Behavioral Health, PLLC.
We adhere to strict confidentiality protocols. Your personal and medical information is protected under HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and will only be shared with your consent or as required by law.
Our therapist offers sessions both in-person and via Telehealth. For South Carolina residents sessions are offered by Telehealth only.
If you have a psychiatric emergency or feel you are a danger to yourself or others, call 911 or go to your local hospital emergency room.
