At Marigold Behavioral Health, we have a responsibility to help protect the health and safety of everyone who works at or enters our practice. In order to allow patients and staff to be themselves without fear of harassment, discrimination, or violence, we place a strong emphasis on fostering safety, respect, and inclusion. The purpose of the following policies is to help protect the physical and psychological safety of both patients and staff.
1. No weapons, concealed or otherwise, are allowed on the premises. Failure to heed our posted signs will result in an immediate discharge.
2. If you can't attend an appointment, we ask that you provide at least 24-hour advance notice to our office. Since we are unable to use this time for another patient, please keep in mind that you will be billed the full session fee for your missed scheduled appointment unless the cancellation is due to illness or an emergency.
3. Two no-show appointments within 6 months will result in being discharged as a patient from Marigold Behavioral Health, PLLC. Patients will also be marked as a no-show if they arrive later than 8 minutes past the scheduled appointment time. This is due to insurance billing regulations and helps us maintain our service standards.
4. Children aged 12 and younger are not allowed to be in the lobby unattended. Their legal guardian must be present at all times.
5. If you (the patient) or anyone in the home has a contagious illness, such as any listed below, the patient will not be seen. Your appointment will be rescheduled for when everyone in the home is well.
- Rhinovirus (Common Cold)
- Influenza (Flu)
- Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)
- Gastroenteritis (Stomach Flu)
- Streptococcus (Strep Throat)
- Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)
- Coronavirus (COVID-19)
6. Legal guardian(s) must accompany any patient under the age of 18 to the intake appointment with documentation to show that you have sole custody, or have the other parent not attending contact our office to provide consent.
7. We are a scent-free office. Help us keep the air we share healthy and fragrance-free. The chemicals used in scented products can make some people sick, especially those with sensitivities to asthma, allergies, migraines, and other conditions. Please do not wear perfume, cologne, aftershave, or other fragrances while visiting our office.
