Samantha also provides virtual counseling services state-wide in South Carolina. Her clinical focus is severe and persistent mental health concerns, with a concentration on bipolar disorders. While she works with individuals from all backgrounds, Samantha has had extensive experience in treating various forms of trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, and psychosis. Prior to deciding to open her own practice, Samantha had the opportunity to work with a variety of mental health concerns in diverse clinical settings, including SUD recovery, school-based therapy, college mental health counseling, and group practice. As a Neuropsychotherapist, she utilizes a multidisciplinary approach that integrates traditional psychotherapy with neurobiology. During sessions, Samantha commonly assists patients in identifying and challenging self-limiting patterns, healing from past experiences, and gaining insight into how the unconscious influences behavior while always reiterating the brain-body connection. Her research interests include the intersection of mental health and the criminal justice system, the development of neurodevelopmental disorders, and genetic links between schizophrenia and associated comorbid conditions.
